| This class which allows the dancer to work at a slower pace gaining more insight into the technique without feeling intimidated. This often happens as a result of being in a fast ballet class with a teacher already expecting the dancer to know the exercises, and not correcting basic faults. | |
| Modern: Professional Company Class | |
| Norman teaches a class that is designed to prepare the professional dancer’s body for the day’s rehearsals\performance situations, focussing on fluidity and consuming space. The class is based on finding the centre, building slowly until the dancers feel that each part of the body is ready and focused for the day ahead. The class is usually tailored to the style, repertoire and physical needs of the company after discussion with the artistic director. | |
